The evtouch author released a new version, 0.8.8, in this web site.

This release fixes for me 2 problems I had with an eGalax touchscreen. It is required that you change the website for evtouch, because http://stz-softwaretechnik.com/~ke/touchscreen/evtouch.html is stuck at 0.8.7.
