i've just uploaded compiz compiz_0.7.6-7 which contains the following changes:
compiz (0.7.6-7) unstable; urgency=medium
* refresh quilt patches to apply with no fuzz/offsets.
* add fglrx driver to compiz-manager whitelist (closes: #495539).

* backport commit aed97c441881d9c382c7865d0305fc8f884c10ac to fix the
problems that seem to come up with certain xscreensavers the Right Way.

note that -6 was never uploaded (i uploaded it yesterday or the day before,
but aborted it in favor if confirming with upstream about the fix in -7 and
uploading again).
note that there's also a little noise in debian/patches, since i did a refresh
of all the quilt patches. this was basically "while quilt push; do quilt
refresh; done" to remove a few offsets in the existing patches.
