Package: libxv1

Severity: normal

After my latest upgrade, all media players (I use totem, gxine, vlc, and mplayer)
using XV have a blue hue for skintones and generally all the colors are off.
With gstreamer-properties I can switch the video output plugin to X11 and totem
works fine, also selecting X11/SHM in the other apps fixes the problem.
I have an nvidia card and I'm running the non-free 169.09-1 version of nvidia-glx
and nvidia-kernel-source compiled with module-assistant. I tried to force the XV
driver back to the testing version, it however had no effect so I'm not sure if
this is specific to only XV, but not using it does provide a workaround.

The non-free nvidia driver is not supported (and in any case, this is
not a bug in libxv). If you can reproduce this with a free driver, feel
free to reopen the bug.
Thanks,
