Bug#503664: xserver-xorg-core: Dual head with Radeon HD3200 - heads partly overlay each other

This is on a HP Pavilion TX2500 (2530es).
I've attached an external monitor via VGA port, with 1440x900 res.
Laptop screen is 1280x800.
Graphics chipset is integrated ATI Radeon HD3200.

Dual head works (no crashes...), but leftmost 1/8th of laptop screen
is "overwritten" by rightmost content on external monitor, and
likewise
rightmost 1/8th of external monitor gets "overwritten" by leftmost
content on laptop screen.

The overwritting occurs when new content is written in the area. For
example, when I move a window from laptop screen to the external
monitor, window
is show correctly on the external monitor, but laptop screen's
leftmost area is overwritten with part of the window that is being
shown on the
external monitor.

When B area is redrawn, A area shows the same content as B.
When A area is redrawn, B area shows the same content as A.

This problem is quite annoying and makes one of both screens a bit useless.

I can provide screenshots if necessary. Can make any tests to help fix
the problem too.
