Hi,

AFAIK, there is currently no way to input the Urdu language
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urdu) on a Debian based system. There are
xkb files for ur floating around in the Internet - see
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UrduKeyboard for an example.

I'm sorry, but Urdu seems to be a variant of the pakistan layout.
