Sadly, the updated ASUS bios does not fix this issue.
I do note that this board seems to use the same BIOS as noted in the
recently-infamous "FoxConn" ACPI incident
<http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=869249>. Is this likely to be
an offshoot of the same issue?
