I have Logitech USB Receiver (wireless mouse and keyboard). The last package with usb reciver work is 1.0.0.5-2. After this version I cannot 
starting X server due to the following mistake:
No core pointer.

I'm pretty sure this is fixed now, so I'll go ahead and close it.
Please reopen if you still have this issue, and include full X log and
config using xserver >= 1.4 and evdev >= 2.0.
