I still get Auth name: XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1 ID: -1 AUDIT: Thu Jul 10 00:07:44 2008: 15312 X: client 2 rejected from local host (uid 1000) with xdm: Installed: 1:1.1.8-1.1 even after adding the workaround to xdm-config. I cannot use xdm. This has a major impact on me. I am now using emacs -nw. I can use xdm if I login as a different user. But that means I have to move all my stuff to a new account. This is crazy.
