Bug#485186: mouse acts weird

Hi *,

I'm seeing this problem on a freshly installed Sid too. However the
xorg.conf does contain only one mouse section (see attachment). Adding
CorePointer to the options solves the problem here.
The difference in the logs with (Xorg.0.log) and without (Xorg.0.log.old)
is here:
 (--) Configured Mouse: Device: "/dev/input/mice"
 (==) Configured Mouse: Protocol: "Auto"
 (**) Configured Mouse: always reports core events
-(**) Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
+(==) Configured Mouse: Emulate3Buttons, Emulate3Timeout: 50
+(**) Configured Mouse: ZAxisMapping: buttons 4 and 5

+(WW) Configured Mouse: No Device specified, looking for one...

It finds two mice, but I only have one attached? Shouldn't dexconf just
add a CorePointer to the mouse section?

Evgeni
