Package: xcontrib
Version: 3.2-2

There are two lines in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults/Xedit:
*filename*preferredPaneSize: 525
*editWindow*preferredPaneSize: 500

Which ruins a 640x480 X display. The numbers should be reduced or the
two lines eliminated altogether.

xgc also does not work in a 640x480 display (it doesn't even fit in
1024x768). I'm not sure how to solve this one. Putting "*Geometry:
635x470" works better but could perhaps be improved further.

xditview has this in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults/Xditview:
Xditview.geometry: 600x800

Which needs to be "Xditview.geometry: 600x400" or so to work on a
640x480 dispaly.

ico is also too large, but doesn't use an app-defaults. ico doesn't
seem to read x resources, so it may need to be compiled with a
different default geometry.

listres, viewres dumps core.

This bug has been marked as "wontfix" for a while, and I don't think it
is worth keeping it open. So as part of cleaning the BTS, I am just
closing it.

Cheers
Brice
