Hi,

here is what I get on my system:

$ xplsprinters
xplsprinters:  no printers found for printer spec "".

$ /etc/init.d/xprint lsprinters
printer: phaser@:64
printer: hp4200@:64
printer: hp4050@:64
printer: xp_ps_spooldir_HOME_Xprintjobs@:64
printer: xp_pdf_spooldir_HOME_Xprintjobs@:64


If I understand what xplsprinters is supposed to do, it should display a list
of printers similar to the list displayed by /etc/init.d/xprint.

This bug may be caused by the fact that no cups daemon is running on this
system.  It just has a /etc/cups/client.conf file with the name of the cups
server.

The xprint-common package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.
