Bug#483578: xserver-xorg-input-kbd: Can't switch to virtual console

Package: xserver-xorg-input-kbd
Version: 1:1.3.1-1
Severity: important

I'm not sure that this bug belongs to xserver-xorg-input-kbd, but I've
tried to do my best guess. After yesterday upgrade from etch to lenny,
I can't switch from X to virtual console using Ctrl-Alt-Fn. At the same
time, chvt works.

I've tried both lenny version of xserver-xorg-input-kbd (1:1.2.2-3) and
the version from incoming (1:1.3.1-1).

0 bash$ grep VT /var/log/Xorg.0.log
(**) Option "DontVTSwitch" "false"
(++) using VT number 9
0 bash$ xev

For xev, I've pressed Alt,Ctrl and, after that, F1. However, I do not
see KeyPress for XF86_Switch_VT_1 -- only KeyRelease.
