Bug#481036: xserver-xorg-video-intel: blank or rapidly flickering display

I upgraded to

xserver-xorg-core 2:1.4.1~git20080131-4
xserver-xorg-input-kbd 1:1.2.2-3
xserver-xorg-input-mouse 1:1.2.3-2
xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.3.1-1

today, and I can confirm that the bug is still present.

However, I found the problem: The polarity of hsync and vsync is
reversed. It should be -hsync +vsync, but is +hsync -vsync instead.

Right now my workaround is to call xrandr in the .xsession file (which
means that I have to login blind, but I could probably call it before
the greeter). I'll report the problem upstream.
