Bug#337874: debconf values not found in dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

Package: xserver-xorg
Version: 1:7.3+10
Followup-For: Bug #337874

I got this output when I tried
`dpgk-reconfigure xserver-xorg`.

<output of dpkg-reconfigure>

Keyboard options:

This is a fake template used to pre-seed the debconf database. If you are seeingthis, something is probably wrong.

Dummy template yes
<end output of dpkg-reconfigure>

Looks like it is related to this bug.

I am not sure whether the following lines in dmesg are causing or are
caused by mis-configured xserver.

In case it helps, this machine has been runing SId since a long time,
but has not been updated for a longish period - around 18 months.
