For unknown reason consecutive calls to xmodmap with a file arguement
causes the system memory to grow.
Making a loop program in a shell to call xmodmap will perform an out of memory
of the system.
Don't do that then?
looks like xmodmap has got leak memory problem ...
xmodmap dies after its invocation, so its memory is freed. The problem
you experience is somewhere else, but as you provide absolutely no clue
how to reproduce it there's not much we can do.
Please try to describe precisely how you reproduce this, and provide
your full X log and config.
