I remember seeing people complain about this, but I can't find
any debian or upstream bug report clearly related. Could it be
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14862 ?

Please send the whole output of
  /usr/share/bug/xserver-xorg/script 3>&1

And please test xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.2.99.901-1 from experimental
in case it helps (or even try the latest upstream git snapshot).
