Well I do have hardware acceleration somewhere it's just way slower than it should be as the clocks' frequency are like 1/4th of what they should be.
I am not running any composite WM for this test (for Firefox it was done on Fluxbox to be sure nothing else would interfere).

One thing I must add, is that when the computer was kind of unusable (not locked but really slow, like 2-3 seconds to switch a tab in Konqueror or Firefox, and maybe 5 seconds to switch to another application like Konsole/xterm in a quite empty DE) the CPU usage seen in htop was still very low so not that much related to a high cpu usage it seems.


I do not fully remember my old options, I know I tried many when KDE4 did not work, so maybe I thought this was a new bug when it was actually me using new settings... If so please forgive that stupid bug report.
