Bug#459376: xterm: does not redraw correctly when selection exists before
Package: xterm
Version: 230-1
Severity: normal
Moving a window before an xterm window where all the window was selected
before results that the xterm window which contains the selection does
not redrawn correctly.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open an xterm window and select all of its contents.
2. Open an other xterm window and resize it to a smaller one. See
the attached step1.png.
3. Move the second window on top of the previous window. See the
attached step2.png.
4. Remove the selection by selecting something else in the second
window. See the attached step3.png for the actual result.
Expected result:
In the first window no selected area should remain.
Additional info:
$ echo $TERM
xterm
The xorg.conf was configured to use the "vesa" driver. Also the Option
"NoAccel" "true" was specified to disable all the accelerations of the X
server.
The problem also exists if a window just moved before the first window
containing the selection.
