FWIW, fedora seems to be using the horrible hack at
http://cvs.fedora.redhat.com/viewcvs/rpms/xorg-x11-server/FC-6/xorg-x11-server-1.1.1-int10-muxing.patch?rev=1.1&view=auto
to get x86emu built on x86.
