Just installed 1:6.7.197-1 from unstable and removed the DisplayPriority option from xorg.conf. The same problem still exists, the screen goes into a mess with a diagonal pattern as if there was no sync.
As before, it works when I add the following line to xorg.conf: Option "DisplayPriority" "BIOS" Thanks, Joachim
