Bug#457440: xserver-xorg-core: ctrl-alt keyboard combinations ceased working after prompts by ratpoison
Hi,
sorry, the mail before was sent prematurely (before I had coffee).

There is nothing obvious to discover:
xkbwatch idle status:
-------- -------- ---X---- ---X---- --X-----
pressing ctrl-alt:
----XX-- -------- ---X---- ---XXX-- ---XXX--
but no additional keys make a difference, I even watched return to tty7
after going to tty8:
----XX-- -------- ---X---- ---XXX-- ---XXX--
after c-T colon help return nothing changes in idle status:
-------- -------- ---X---- ---X---- ---X----
ctrl-alt alone looks no different:
----XX-- -------- ---X---- ---XXX-- ---XXX--
no difference again:
----XX-- -------- ---X---- ---XXX-- ---XXX--
Isn't there a program with textual output of keyboard events?
Regards and have nice holiday days
Sebastian
