Please send the log of the crash, there will be a backtrace at the end
of /var/log/Xorg.0.log. If you already restarted X after the crash, the
log will have been moved to /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old. Also, it would be
very good to catch a debugging backtrace with gdb.

By the way, you're using xserver-xorg-core 1.3 (from testing) so there's
a good chance that the bug is already fixed in unstable.
