Bug#455065: libgl1-mesa-glx and fglrx-driver (proprietary) share /usr/lib/libGL.so.1.2
Package: libgl1-mesa-glx
Version: 7.0.2-2
Severity: wishlist
I installed the ATI drivers proprietary ;-) on my laptop acer 5102,
I installed the package fglrx-driver_8.433-1_amd64.deb with the option
--force-all
but now I encounter a problem when I get out of hibernation:
my laptop crashes.
Then I did:
apt-get install --reinstall libgl1-mesa-glx
(to try to reinstall libgl1-mesa-glx) but I get:(as expected ...)
-----------8<----------------------------------------------------------------------
trying to overwrite `/usr/lib/libGL.so.1.2', which is also in package fglrx-driver
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)
-----------8<----------------------------------------------------------------------
Is there a way to make libgl1-mesa-glx and fglrx-driver_8.433-1_amd64.deb
to share the same /usr/liblibGL.so.1.2 ?
Thank in advance.
Gerard.
