Did you experience this in the past? Any idea whether you upgraded
xserver-xorg-core or your driver when the problem started to occur?
For the record, nothing entered testing recently, since xserver 1.4
entered unstable about one month and a half ago.

Do you experience an actual crash (with a backtrace at the end of
Xorg.0.log)? Or just a freeze? If a crash, it would be very helpful
to catch a debugging backtrace with gdb after installing
xserver-xorg-core-dbg.
