ddcprobe / maintainer (some monitor detection problems)

Hi! I try to find the maintainer of the ddcprobe tool. We are using
it for automated setup of stateless workstations (different distros
like Debian, SuSE, Ubuntu, Gentoo ...) But we ran into several problems
recently:

on several NVidia graphic cards:

VESA 3.0 detected.
OEM Name: NVIDIA
Vendor Name: NVIDIA Corporation
Product Name: MCP61 - mcp61-80
Product Revision: Chip Rev
Memory installed = 512 * 64k blocks = 32768kb

        1280x1024x64k
        1280x1024x16m
EDID read failed. (No DDC-capable monitor attached?)

The display produces proper results with other graphic adaptors like from
Matrox or Intel. Other tools like SuSE hwinfo produce proper results:

(that tool is not really an alternative - fat binary and libs for other
hardware detections too)

And proper resolution with SuSE hwinfo ...

Any ideas how to proceed, whom to contact? Thanks a lot!! Dirk
