Package: xserver-xorg-video-ati
Version: 1:6.6.193-3

The displays are connected to the external DVI port of the card, using
a DVI splitter cable.  Both displays constantly show one of the two
screens.

1:6.6.3-2 from testing works fine with the same configuration file.  I
also tried fairly extensive configuration tweaks and the version from
experimental, without any luck.

On slightly different hardware (but with allegedly the same ATI chip),
the old configuration still does not work, but running

  xrandr --output DVI-1 --pos 1920x0

creates a proper image on the second monitor.  There's also a
"Virtual 3840 1200" line in xorg.conf.

(This has been tested with current upstream; due to some bizarre local
mirror issue, I can't download the current source package in
experimental.)
