Hi,

I'm running under debian SID, so I have updated/upgraded my system to the new xorg. 
Few months ago I have done a xorg.conf which use MergedFB to show an extended desktop on my LVDS and a CRT. It has worked fine until few weeks. Then I get just clone mode with MergedFB.
I have read that now, we can change the display settings through xrandr. But by me I can't. I have posted on gmane.comp.freedesktop.xorg.drivers.ati and Alex Deucher has told me that I use the "old driver". Is it normal ? Is the actual unstable package must work with xrandr 1.2 ?

The driver in unstable is 6.6.193, i.e. the old-style driver with RandR
1.2 support. The new one with RandR 1.2 is 6.7.192, currently in

That's an impressive xorg.conf, let me know if you need help to update
xorg.conf for RandR 1.2. Also, you might want to switch to EXA instead
of XAA now.
