Package: xserver-xfree86
Version: 4.1.0-16woody3
Severity: wishlist
I have created some xfonts packages for arabic, farsi and hebrew
from ttf fonts which are located in "/usr/lib/X11/fonts/TrueType"
Installing and all works fine, but the fonts are not accessibel
because a missinf "FontPath" Entry in
Section "Files"
FontPath "/usr/lib/X11/fonts/TrueType"
EndSection
Because the Debian-Policy say, on package has not the right to
modify configs of another package, please add it to avoid further
problems with additional TrueType fonts packages.
My current xfonts packages are availlable at:
#/etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://www.khayatfamily.net/debian compile main non-free
deb-src http://www.khayatfamily.net/debian compile main non-free
Thank you
Michelle

The config file doesn't include a font path at all these days. Also,
please think of the kittens, don't use core fonts. Truetype fonts work
out of the box with apps which use client-side fonts.
