Package: xserver-xorg-video-ati Version: 1:6.6.3-2 Severity: important After the last apt-get -t experimental upgrade, the ati driver got updated to 1:6.6.3-5. This started crashing the server on certain actions. Two that I was able to consistently reproduce were the server hanging after some inactivity (When screen saver would go on to blank the screen), or trying to play the lbreakout2 game. I downgraded to 1:6.6.3-2 and now everything works fine. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.19.2 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages xserver-xorg-video-ati depends on: ii libc6 2.5-0exp6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii xserver-xorg-core 2:1.2.0-6 X.Org X server -- core server xserver-xorg-video-ati recommends no packages. -- no debconf information

Closing since I didn't get any reply to my ping one month ago. If anybody ever reproduces, feel free to reopen. Brice
