It looks like your ctrl-alt-left/right are not working. Did you change the default key shortcut in the compiz gconf config? I've one such case in the past, we only solved it by deleting the whole tree of compiz config in the gconf database.
I didn't change it until I tried to get it working. Up until then the key bindings were the default. There were other items that I changed but not the key bindings.
Also of note is that defining edges for "next slide" and "previous slide" also does absolutely nothing.
This is in contrast to plane, which appears to work properly.Another question is: how does one move a window between slides/planes? I can drag it to the edge, go to the next plane/slide, then pick it up from there, but that's very cumbersome to say the least.
Much easier to right-click on the titlebar and tell it to move to a different workspace. :-)
