The agpgart error is gone from your log, that's a nice step already.

Not needed, they should be loaded automatically anyway (at least on all
the machines I have seen).
I see intelfb in your dmesg lines. Are you actually using a framebuffer
console? Does it help if you remove it?

Please try xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.1.0-1 (currently in unstable).

It's surprising that you can't increase this in the BIOS? What's your
machine?
