Version: 0.2.2-1
Severity: normal

Hello,

I like to use my Mod4 (win) key instead of alt to drag windows, so I
went in gconf-editor and set

  /apps/compiz/plugins/move/allscreens/options/initiate_button

to <Mod4>Button1 instead of <Alt>Button1.

It works (I happily move my windows around with Mod4+Button1 drag) but
next time I start X it'll have reverted back to <Alt>Button1.

Interestingly, I changed all of the other compiz+plugin keybindings to
have <Mod4> instead of <Alt> and they preserve the setting correctly.

I can easily work this around by running this somewhere after X starts:

  gconftool-2 -t string -s \
    /apps/compiz/plugins/move/allscreens/options/initiate_button \
    '<Mod4>Button1'

But of course this looks like a bug.

Ciao,

Enrico

I tried quickly with compiz 0.5.0 but I couldn't reproduce. However,
there are many components involved in here, so it's hard to be sure I
was trying in the same condition that you did.

Ok, I am closing this bug for now since nobody is able to
reproduce/debug the problem anymore. But if anybody ever reproduces,
feel very to reopen.

Thanks,
Brice
