Bug#430432: libdrm2: i915 driver problem
reassign 430432 xserver-xorg-core
thank you
This looks like a driver or server core problem(s), not something libdrm

Beryl is not in Debian, does the same problem occur with compiz (0.5.0
currently in unstable)?
Please send the output of
/usr/share/bug/xserver-xorg/script 3>&1
so that we see your whole config and log.

This has been discussed a little bit in
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10467
"Does this and/or the hang also happen if you set the driconf setting
vblank_mode ('Synchronization with vertical refresh (swap intervals)')
to 0 ('Never synchronize with vertical refresh, ignore application's
choice')?"
