And xorg.conf is going to become more and more useless in the future anyway.
if this bug doesn't make sense on xorg anymore, then it should be reassigned to where it makes sense, rather than closing it (the bug is certainly not fixed). my goal submitting this was to get people thinking about how to automatically support the mouse nav buttons without any user intervention. thanks. mike
