Sorry, I am a total git newbie :-)

I did:
$ git clone git://git.debian.org/git/pkg-xorg/lib/libpciaccess.git
Initialized empty Git repository in /home/rousseau/macbook/avivo/a/libpciaccess/.git/
remote: Generating pack...
Done counting 269 objects.

$ ls
libpciaccess
$ cd libpciaccess/
libpciaccess$ ls
[nothing except a .git directory]

The same command worked (at least I have some files) to get
xserver-xorg-video-avivo

I am lost :-(
Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
