Version: 3.01, AMD64 I have just bought the 'official' DVDs for installing Debian Sarge on an AMD64system. It installs OK but I cannot get a desktop.auto recognise screen failed selected ATI in subsequent screen then it says that the X configuration is wrong. i have re-installed it trying various options for the graphics card to no avail. The graphics card is: ATI radeon x700 rv410 the monitor is: sony SDM x73 any help would be much appreciated as I ma trying to migrate from SUSE as Debain has better 'academic' software systems. This ATI board was not supported in XFree86 4.3. It should work fine with a recent Xorg. Brice
