I have an apple powerbook G4 q5" with a 1280x854 LCD. At 1280x854 the
display is perfect but I cannot use it at 1024x768.

I made two test and noticed the same screen corruption:
1. mplayer switching to 1024x768
2. cloning LCD and an external monitor at 1024x768

my display adapter is:

This bug has been marked as fixed-upstream a while ago since the fix got
applied in ATI driver 6.6.3, closing.
