Sorry, I've little time to test this at the moment. I'll try it when I find some free time.
About the suspend/resume problem, it is unrelated (and should not be discussed here) and might be similar to #390913. The kernel oops is a kernel problem, possibly related to the suspend2 patch.
I'll also test with a recent kernel then. Sorry for the delay :-( Hermann
