Bug#368214: This bug still results in significant functionality loss
I'm not sure if this bug can really be closed as the sun keyboards are
still severly limited even after the work-around above. If you set the
keyboard as pc/104 none of the keys to the left of the keypad work,
nor does the help or the sound keys. Also the "Compose" key is mapped
to Menu, and no longer even works as a dead key, as it auto-repeats.
I've been looking at trying to figure out how to fix this and restore
the functionality of these keyboards but I don't have a handle on xkb
and what, exactly, happened in linux 2.6 to make all this stuff break,
but I think this bug should be reopened until a proper fix is made.
