Hi Arthur, Could you try with libX11 1.1 without XCB ? Some packages are available at http://people.debian.org/~daenzer/ libX11/XCB is only supposed to make some things a little slower, but we never know, it could be somehow related to your lockup. So if you happen to have a chance to give a try with these libX11-without-XCB packages... Thanks, Brice
