I suggest you report this problem directly upstream at
bugzilla.freedesktop.org or on #xorg-devel on irc.freenode.net. Your
server and driver are very recent release candidates, people are working
a lot on finalizing these releases, and they seem very responsive to bug
reports.

Just a side note, 915resolution is not supposed to matter anymore with
the latest intel driver since it modifies BIOS tables that the driver
does not use anymore.
