I don't know what of this is the cause of the crash
but after if you call "xhost" without parameters it crash.

$ uname -a
Linux malin 2.2.19 #1 Sat Jun 9 13:04:06 EST 2001 i686 unknown

$ dpkg -s libc6 | grep '^Version'
Version: 2.1.3-20

I know that is not a big problem but a seg fault is a big problem
in every case.

Unreproducible here, the sequence given by the submitter does not
