Debian X Strike Force,

I'm running unstable, with some experimental bits:
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian ../project/experimental main
deb-src http://ftp.debian.org/debian ../project/experimental main

It seems like Xlib has some resource de-allocation issues on my system.

carlos@systemhalted:/usr/X11R6/lib$ xterm
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Maximum number of clients reached
xterm Xt error: Can't open display: :0.0
carlos@systemhalted:/usr/X11R6/lib$

Restarting the X server fixes the issue for a while, then it comes back
depending on how many windows I've opened and closed. I'm currently
running sawfish + gnome.

Linux systemhalted 2.6.5-1-686 #1 Wed Apr 7 00:24:54 EST 2004 i686 GNU/Linux

I ran debsums against these packages:
cat XPackages.txt | cut -d' ' -f3 | xargs debsums

No failures.

Is there any easy way to debug this? :)
Do you need more information?

Cheers,
Carlos.
