Package: xserver-xfree86
Version: 4.2.1-9

I've installed the 2.6.0-test2 kernel, and it has a driver for the synaptics touchpad. However, to get the mouse events from the kernel into the x server I seem to need another driver in xfree. According to the documentation for MOUSE_PS2 in the kernel, you need the driver at http://w1.894.telia.com/~u89404340/touchpad/.

In earlier kernels I could just use /dev/psaux, but now I get nothing there, and nothing in /dev/input/mice. /dev/input/event1, however, get input when I move the mouse, so maybe an evdev driver would work too.

Closing this bug since people involved (either submitter or confirmers)
either have an invalid address, or did not reply to my ping a couple
weeks ago, or don't have the hardware anymore to try to reproduce. If
anybody ever reproduces this problem, feel free to reopen.
