Version: 4.2.1-5
Severity: normal

Hello,

The "xon" calls "hostname --version".
The mistake is that xon does not anticipate that "hostname --version" prints
its information to stderr (instead of stdout).

May I also suggest a bit more error handling?
e.g. when someone uses "xon -debug hostname cmd"

Regards,

	Erwin

I can't reproduce any problem here. Current "hostname --version" prints
its information to stdout, not to stderr. And it seems that xon
reports/handles hostname errors gracefully. Closing.
