Yeah. As far as I remember, it was connected with the order linux 
brings up its interfaces, but I don't remember the details. I'm not
using remote Xsessions anymore.

Try to set up more IPs on lo, and star with different than
127.0.0.1 (it was the way I was filtering out ad sites). Maybe you'll
find some unexpected behavior and will be able to produce something
similar to what I was reporting.
