Package: xserver-xfree86 Version: 4.1.0-9 Severity: important When module "dri" is loaded in the xserver, you can always freeze the system by launching xawtv and moving the xawtv window. The problem goes away if you comment out "dri" in XF86Config-4. Differnet kernel versions (Debian's 2.4.9-k6, 2.4.12-k6, and homebuilt 2.4.13 and 2.4.14) do not change this behavior. -- System Information Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux komarr 2.4.14 #2 Wed Nov 7 22:34:06 PST 2001 i586 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages xserver-xfree86 depends on: ii debconf 1.0.17 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.2.4-3 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii xserver-common 4.1.0-9 files and utilities common to all ii zlib1g 1:1.1.3-16 compression library - runtime
