Bug#198700: xserver-xfree86: X server can't open a core pointer at /dev/mouse if /dev/mouse doesn't exist

About 4 years ago, you reported a bug to the Debian BTS regarding X
server problems when /dev/mouse does not exist.
Did you reproduce this problem recently? If not, I will close this bug
in the next weeks.
