Sorry about the last message, it was about a different bug reported about 4 weeks ago.

The lockups are not reproduced the last years, the old maintainer produced a bigfix that made the system work. I reported this to the maintainer.

There were so much FUD about this bug (it stopped a large demonstration of the Debian GNU/Linux system to officials at Bergen County) that I forgot to report the bugfix to Debian BTS...
