        + modify logic in tgetent() which adjusts the termcap "me" string      
          to work with ISO-2022 string used in xterm-new (cf: 20010908).

also note the followups for sgr0 in that file.

rxvt behaves different since it has different error detection for the
control sequences (this is not saying that it's behaving correctly ;-).
